Sara is a much-loved member of the Baillie Lodges family. She’s happy to be known for her gypsy spirit, and in her time at Baillie Lodges she’s enjoyed myriad life experiences, from living on a wildly beautiful island and the vast reaches of the outback to Sydney’s sunny Northern Beaches.

In 2010, Sara joined the team at Southern Ocean Lodge as Front Office Supervisor. There she navigated the challenges of running a remote luxury lodge with seemingly effortless ship-shape organisation. Hiking to Kangaroo Island’s secluded coves and playing foster mum to orphaned wallaby Willow were highlights.

After taking a break on a road trip, Sara returned to the Baillie Lodges fold in 2013 where she took up the post as Assistant Lodge Manager at Longitude 131° in Australia’s Red Centre. After a year in the outback, Sara returned to the bright lights of the city and the Baillie Lodges Head Office in Avalon. Since 2014, Sara has managed logistics and sourced lodge supplies in her role as Operations Executive with her trademark calm efficiency and broad-reaching operational experience.
