She is a tourism and hospitality specialist having spent more than 25 years working with organisations such as Accor, P&O Australian Resorts and Quest Hotel Apartments. She even followed her dream of owning and managing her very own franchise hotel in regional Victoria for 6 years.
Sonya brings to Silky Oaks and the broader Baillie Lodges’ portfolio experience in reservations and distribution, training and development, project management, hotel pre-opening and an entrepreneurial spirit. These skills are exceptionally beneficial as Sonya oversees the enhancement of the Lodge’s facilities, operations and guest experience ready for an April 2021 re-opening.
