Working in a small restaurant in a seaside town reminded Kate of what she loves about the hospitality industry. It provides the opportunity to deliver premium products in a way that is so much more than just great food, wine or service, but an experience for guests they will remember for a lifetime.
Kate brings to Baillie Lodges extensive industry experience, that has seen her quickly rise from a Guest Services Host to Assistant Manager at Longitude 131°, and on to Assistant General Manager at Baillie Lodges’ newest venture, Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
Kate has an innate desire to deliver excellent customer experiences. Whether it’s suggesting the right wine for dinner (she was General Manager for a family-run wine business in Coonawarra, South Australia) or tailoring a tour. She combines her excellent communication and organisational skills to understand what experience they’re looking for and delivers something even better.
‘It’s every little detail that makes the guest experience something they’ll remember for a lifetime’, Kate said.
